The Rip Van Winkle:

Rip Van Winkle Country Club is a 9-hole regulation length golf course in Palenville, New York. This course was built on flat terrain and features wide fairways. The small greens are medium speed, and water hazards come into play on five holes. Look for the reflection of the Catskill Mountains in some of the water ponds. Rip Van Winkle is a great course - challenging, but can be played by beginners. The course is very well-kept, and although it is not necessarily a very short course, walking it is not difficult and is actually very pleasant when you get a look at the mountains.

Black Head Mountain:

By far one of the most outstanding 18 hole, par 72 championship courses in the Northeast. It offers not only breathtaking scenery, but a tremendous challenge as well. There are water hazards, bunkers, doglegs and two-tier greens. The breath taking views and serene atmosphere make this golf course very special. The golf pro shop is stocked with equipment, supplies and apparel.

The Lazy Swan:

Designed by Golf Architect Barry Jordan, The Lazy Swan Golf Course is a championship caliber nine hole golf course. The course has been designed as “a series of linked passages of natural beauty” with each hole presenting it’s own unique character and challenges for players to overcome. Easily walkable, players will encounter several cascading and reflection ponds, rock outcroppings, dramatic elevation changes, an alpine garden, and beautiful views to the Catskill Mountains, all within an intimately romantic landscape.
